Our CEO, Marisa Bidois, recently appeared on Seven Sharp discussing Kiwis’ habits with restaurant leftovers!

A survey conducted by the Restaurant Association shows more than half of NZ restaurants offer doggy bags, with families and over-60s most likely to take food home. Young adults (18-30)? Not so keen!
Why? Social stigma and heading out after dinner with no place to store leftovers might explain it.
Unlike the US, NZ hasn’t seen changing attitudes toward taking food home. But with all leftover food on plates ending up in bins, we’re working on solutions!
